BURTON Albion are pleased to announce the latest instalment of the Brewers Teammates series, hosted by club Hall of Fame inductee Aaron Webster.
Webster will host the online event via Zoom call on Thursday 19 November (6.30pm), alongside current Brewers players John Brayford and Lucas Akins.
All supporters are invited to join the online event, but must confirm their attendance prior to the evening via email.
Anyone attending is kindly encouraged to make a donation to Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT).
Although a donation is not compulsory, with over 21,000 hours per year of community delivery constantly rising, all support is more crucial than ever.
Below are a just a few of the great causes that you can help BACT to support with your donation:
- £5 can provide vital food items to those shielding and at need of support
- £10 can enable BACT staff to provide weekly phone calls to vulnerable community members
- £20 can provide mentoring support for young people in the local community
Webster hopes for a great turnout to help raise vital funds for BACT. He said: “It’s really important to do these kinds of events, especially in the current climate with everything that’s going on.
“Albion fans haven’t been able to come any games in a long time, so to be able to do an evening like this with Bray and Lucas is something that I hope can go down really well and put smiles on people’s faces.
“Both players have been tremendous servants to the club and I’m looking forward to talking to them about their time here, with plenty of laughs along the way.
"It’s not mandatory for people to donate towards BACT, but we’d be extremely grateful if people could part with any amount of money to help the continuous brilliant work of the club’s charitable arm.”
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm your attendance and to receive the login details. Only people who register their name as attending will be submitted into the live Zoom call.
