BURTON Albion Chairman Ben Robinson has sent this message to all Season Ticket Holders and Vice Presidents:
Thanks for your support during the 2020/21 season, which is greatly appreciated by everyone at the football club.
We know how difficult it was to commit to supporting Burton Albion without knowing whether fans would be allowed into the ground and we understand the financial pressures the pandemic has put everyone under.
That’s why the continued backing of our loyal supporters, Vice Presidents and sponsors was more important than ever to us.
Hopefully, you have been able to watch the games on iFollow Brewers, read the digital programme and have kept up with everything happening at the club via our social media channels and club website.
As you know, the club and community trust has been busy offering our support where it has been most needed and I’m sure many of you will have received a jab here at the Pirelli Stadium Vaccination Centre.
Unfortunately, despite everyone’s best efforts it is now certain we can’t welcome fans back for our remaining home games this season.
Now our thoughts turn to next season, when in line with the Government’s road map easing us out of Covid restrictions, we hope to start welcoming fans back.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has pulled together a strong League One squad in a short space of time and I’m sure you will be excited to see how the team gets on next season.
Therefore, we would hope you would be willing to roll over your existing season ticket to the 2021/22 season. There will be no extra charge and you will have top priority if the number of fans permitted to enter the Pirelli Stadium is restricted.
We hope you will stay with us and join us for what we hope will be an exciting season of EFL football.
However, further to our previous promise to fans, as there has been no chance to see games this season at the Pirelli Stadium you may request a refund if you prefer.
We would appreciate you emailing us at office@burtonalbionfc.co.uk telling us whether you wish your season ticket to be rolled over or if you wish to claim a refund. Alternatively, you can call us on 01283 565938.
