BREWERS AND RAYGAR SIGN NEW SPONSORSHIP DEAL

19 April 2021

ONE of Burton Albion’s longest-standing sponsors has agreed a new deal to back the Brewers in the 2021/22 season.

Raygar Architectural and Engineering Supplies Limited has been an important partner of the football club, Burton Albion Community Trust and the Academy for a number of years.

In 2017, Raygar became the first company to sign up to support the Academy’s One of Our Own project, which offered sponsorship packages to businesses willing to help nurture future Burton Albion first team players.

The firm had already supported the football club and the community trust but added the Academy Under 13s to complete its support of all three branches of Burton Albion.
MD Ray Garlick is a big supporter of the Brewers who has watched the club from non-league to the Championship.

Burton Albion Chairman Ben Robinson said: “Ray and his company are one of our longest-standing and most valued partners. We have been on an amazing journey together and I’m delighted that will be continuing.

“Ray is a true supporter of the football club and shares our aims and values which is why he also supports our charity BACT and our Academy.

“We greatly appreciated the support of sponsors like Raygar throughout the pandemic and we are looking forward to working with them next season when we hope we will be heading back to normality.”

Raygar is a stand-alone independent company, supplying goods and services to the construction industry and all associated allied trades.

The firm has combined knowledge and experience in the ironmongery and hardware industry offering onsite technical support supplying major house builders as well as DIY enthusiasts with personal home improvement projects.

The company celebrated 25 years of successful business in 2020 and is now building for an even more successful next 25 years.

Ray Garlick said: “We have developed a great relationship with Burton Albion and Chairman Ben Robinson and it’s a pleasure to be able to continue that partnership.

“The football club’s impact in the community and development of young talent through the Academy are as important to us as they are to Ben, which is why we want to be involved in BACT and the Under 13s team as well.

“I’m looking forward to watching Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s team next year and I’m excited about where this squad can go. It’s going to be a great season and everyone at Raygar is looking forward to being an important part of it.”
