FANS CAN QUESTION CHAIRMAN AND MANAGER AT OPEN FORUM

4 August 2021

BURTON Albion fans are being invited to an open forum where Chairman Ben Robinson and manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and his assistant Dino Maamria will answer questions.

The free event is part of the club’s new-look fan engagement programme for the 2021/22 season that will feature surveys and feedback sessions on issues raised, as well a chance to meet and pose questions to members of the first team squad.

The open forum will be the first event of the programme and it will take place at the Pirelli Stadium on Monday, August 9 with a 7pm start.

The hour-long event is free but fans who want to take part must book in advance as numbers will be limited due to Covid safety measures. Those attending will have the chance to submit questions in advance by email and then pose them from the floor on the night.

Anyone attending the event will need to fill in a health form before 5pm on the evening of the forum. Details will be sent to attendees along with any other Covid measures that maybe implemented prior to the event.

The forum will be hosted by Burton Albion Community Trust’s Head of Community Matt Hancock, who said: “Fan engagement is an important part of everything we believe in at Burton Albion.

“During the pandemic we have been restricted to holding events online, but we are delighted to now be able to welcome fans back in person.

“We are also excited by our plans for fan engagement for the new season and we hope as many of our supporters as possible will take part in at least one of the events.”

Chairman Ben Robinson said: “I’m looking forward to taking questions from our fans on all things Burton Albion.

“These events are always enjoyable, but they also provide us with invaluable feedback which helps us shape club policy going forward.

“It’s important for a club like ours to stay close to our supporters, so please do take part in our fan engagement programme and make your views known.”

If you wish to attend the open forum on August 9 please complete this form:
