WATCH Burton Albion Academy Coach Courtney Pitt on a Premier League World feature that was aired last week on both Sky Sports and BT Sport.
The Premier League Productions team aired the feature as part of an initiative to increase coach diversity in football.
The Professional Player to Coach Scheme was launched last year as a joint programme from the Premier League, the Professional Footballers Association Charity and the EFL.
It aims to increase the numbers of Black and Asian players who transition into full-time coaching roles in the professional game.
Having started his career as a youth player at Chelsea, Pitt went on to play professionally for the likes of Portsmouth, Luton, Boston and Cambridge, and is one of the scheme’s first intake of six coaches alongside Jon-Paul Pittman, Harrison Gilkes, Eric Odhiambo, Taff Rahman and Darren Byfield.
