JEBBISON: IT MEANS A LOT THAT FANS VOTED FOR ME

14 December 2021

ON-LOAN Burton Albion forward Daniel Jebbison has won the PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Month for November for Sky Bet League One!

The Brewers striker, who has joined us from Sheffield United and has netted six goals so far this season, was shortlisted for the award and has subsequently won the fan vote.

Four of Jebbison's six goals came in November, starting with our 2-1 Emirates FA Cup win at Fleetwood Town, before netting twice in our 4-0 win over Accrington Stanley at the Pirelli Stadium.

Jebbison then scored a remarkable goal in our 2-0 win over Doncaster Rovers days later, a backheeled volley from close range doubling our lead.

And Jebbison is grateful for the support from the Brewers' staff, his teammates and the fans, especially those who voted for him.

"It does mean a lot that fans have voted for this," said Jebbison. "I'm grateful for that support there, it's great. It drives me even more really.

"I feel I'm improving mentally and as a player, on and off the pitch. It's a great environment here.

"They drive me, the whole staff and the players, every training session I feel fitter, every game I feel fitter, so a huge thank you to everyone.

"I just want to keep improving as a footballer and as a player, on and off the pitch, and get more awards, score more goals and get more wins."

And as for his Jebbison's favourite moment in November? You won't be surprised to know that the 18-year-old striker went for one of those four goals!

"My favourite one would definitely be Doncaster," said Jebbison.

"You had the technique in there and that's where a striker needs to be as well, but we don't really do those type of finishes in training!"

Congratulations Jebbo!
