SINCE the release of the Brewers Picks game in October last year, 141 pool prizes have been given away to weekly winners that have taken part in the free-to-play contest.
Burton Albion’s partnership with Low6 has allowed supporters to get involved every matchday with a pick’em style contest that has given away £8,000 in cash so far this season, across its 19 renewals.
There have been 117 successors in the last five months, with some players even scooping the entire £250 jackpot. The average win has been £57.
Low6 have been in contact with some of this season’s lucky contestants after they stole their share of the spoils with their in-depth Brewers knowledge. User JossSimpson, who won cash prizes in December, said: “I had to quadruple check it, I couldn’t quite believe it.
“It’s definitely different. It makes following just a singular game much more interesting. I ended up cheering for corners!”
Georgewrightt, who also won over the festive period, added: “I was very excited and over the moon I won.
“I was in my car and my watch pinged with a text from Brewers Picks saying I had won. My girlfriend checked the leader board on her account and wouldn’t tell me how much I won until I got home to keep it a surprise for myself.”
November winner Kwhite95 concluded: “When I saw the leader board I was shocked because I nearly totally forgot on the day to do it. It was only an hour or so before kick-off that I remembered.”
