BURTON Albion can confirm that right-back Neal Eardley has joined Sky Bet League Two side Barrow on loan until the end of May.
Welsh international Eardley, a summer signing for the Brewers after leaving Lincoln City, has made 14 appearances for Albion this season, 10 of which have come in the league.
Barrow won promotion to the EFL last season - finishing top of the National League on points-per-game average - for the first time in 48 years and currently sit 21st in the fourth tier.
“Neal wants to be playing regular football, so that’s why we have let him go out on loan to Barrow," said manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
“We thank him for his efforts, and wish him all the best while he’s at Barrow.”
