CHAIRMAN REINFORCES COMMITMENT TO EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY

BURTON Albion FC is committed to being a welcoming environment for all supporters, visitors, staff and volunteers.

Burton Albion is committed to ensuring that equality of opportunity is at the very heart of everything we do to ensure we provide fair and non-prejudicial access to the services across the club, Community Trust and Academy.

It is the policy of Burton Albion Football Club that no person, whether a job applicant, employee, volunteer or customer, shall be discriminated against.

Chairman Ben Robinson said: “At Burton Albion our commitment to equality and diversity isn’t just an exercise but part of our core beliefs.

“It’s something fundamental to everyone who works at Burton Albion and what we expect from all the people who visit us both on matchdays and non-matchdays.

“Burton Albion is a family club, and we pride ourselves on making the Pirelli Stadium a place where everyone feels safe and welcome.”

The club joins many campaigns that promote equality and inclusion including Kick it Out, Level Playing Fields and Rainbow Laces

The club also is committed to achieving the EFL’s established Equality Code of Practice and League-wide Inclusion Plan and we will continue to work with all EFL clubs to further embed equality, diversity and inclusion throughout football.

Burton Albion has signed up to the FA Leadership Diversity Code.
