BURTON ALBION will face Fleetwood away in the Emirates FA Cup First Round.
The tie will take place on the weekend of November 5-8 with the date and time to be confirmed.
The draw was televised live by ITV with Kelly Smith and Wes Morgan drawing out the 80 balls
Albion were ball No 7 in the draw.
Brewers manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said: “We have been drawn away which is not ideal but we can’t control that. What we can control is how we approach the game, and we will be well prepared and ready for it.”
The Brewers travel to Fleetwood on Tuesday in League One and so will get a preview of what to expect in the FA Cup.
Hasselbaink added: “They are a team we know about already and it won’t be easy, especially at their place.
“But the FA Cup is an important competition for the club and always excites the supporters. We want to make as much progress as possible and have a chance of a big draw at home in the later rounds.
“But you can only do that if you make progress and every game is tough because of what is at stake and every club wants to write a bit of history and grab a bit of glory, so they are all hard games.”
