THERE will be pre-match fun and games for youngsters on Saturday - as well as the chance to meet Burton Albion stars John Brayford and Louis Moult - as the Family Zone returns to the Pirelli Stadium with a whole new look.
Families can start their matchday experience 90 minutes before kick off, with activities on the 3G pitch next to the BACT building.
The Family Zone will feature music, lots of games and activities, teas and coffees and on Saturday ahead of the Brewers home game with Oxford, a chance to meet two Brewers first team players with club captain Brayford and summer signing Moult on hand to join in!
Visitors to the Family Zone will be encouraged to grab an ‘honesty flag’ to use during the game to cheer on Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s team which we ask you to return after the match.
The Family Zone will be open from 1.30pm to 2.45pm on Saturday.
It will then take place before every home game, starting 90 minutes before kick off.
Burton Albion Community Trust’s Head of Community Matt Hancock said: “We are delighted to be able to re-launch pre-match activities at the Pirelli Stadium with the new-look Family Zone.
“The Pirelli Stadium is a welcoming place for families, and we want everyone to come and enjoy the special atmosphere of a Burton Albion home game.
“We are grateful to the PFA for supporting the Family Zone with funding from the Return of Fans programme and we now look forward to welcoming everyone to the game.”
