HEAD of Community Matt Hancock will take on the London Marathon this weekend, Sunday October 3.
Matt is set to head to the capital to take on the challenge, after becoming a regular runner throughout lockdown. He is now looking to try and raise funds for a charity that’s very close to his heart, Cancer Research UK, in which he has already raised over £700.
“Throughout the lockdown I needed a bit of a release and I found running to be a good way to help me clear my mind and to get away from everything during what was a tough period for everyone”, said Hancock.
“I have always loved physical activities and keeping fit, so for me to help raise money for Cancer Research UK after gaining entrance through the wonderful Michelin AC, has just given me the further motivation to get through the training and do it.”
