BREWERS fan Frances Wright was able to meet her favourite player Lucas Akins after the club donated a prize to a charity auction.
Frances, a Burton Albion Season Ticket Holder, and her friend Sue Doherty enjoyed a pre-match meal ahead of our 2-1 vctory over Portsmouth after winning a prize the club donated to a charity effort by Simon Holbrook.
She won her prize in a charity auction to support Simon, who took part in the Snowdon at Night Challenge, trekking for eight hours covering 21km of undulating terrain in order to raise money and awareness for SANDS (the charity that supports stillborn and neonatal death).
Frances asked to meet Lucas, who signed her No 10 Brewers shirt.
She said: "Lucas is an absolute delight and a great ambassador for the club. Sue and I had a wonderful evening. Thanks to the club for donating to the Sands charity auction."
