BURTON Albion play the first of back-to-back home games on Tuesday night, taking on Ipswich Town at the Pirelli Stadium (7.45pm kick-off).

The Tractor Boys have had a positive start to the season, drawing once and winning twice - including a 3-0 victory over MK Dons at the weekend.

The Brewers recorded their first ever win over Ipswich last season, a 2-1 victory at the Pirelli Stadium almost a year ago to the day, with goals from Joe Powell and Lucas Akins cancelling out Joe Pigott's effort.

Other than that, Ipswich have had the upper hand in all games since the sides first met in 2016, winning eight out of 10 meetings in total. The solitary draw was a goalless encounter in the Championship back in February 2018.

The most recent meeting between the two sides came at Portman Road in March, where the hosts took a 3-0 victory.

Tomorrow's referee will be Ben Toner from Lancashire. In the three games Toner has officiated this season, he has shown seven yellow cards and no reds.

The assistant referees will be Abbas Khan and Hristo Karaivanov, with Peter Wright as the fourth official.

Our new-look Family Zone opens 90 minutes before kick-off on the Burton Albion Community Football Centre (3G pitch) and everyone is welcome to join in the fun and games - and as a special treat, the Burton Albion Women's First Team will be in attendance to take part in all the activities with our young fans against Ipswich!

There is also an indoor section with even more activities, with booths for colouring-in, table tennis, a big screen and much, much more! So make sure to come down from 6.15pm on Tuesday evening - the fun is open to both home and away fans!

There is plenty more information for young fans on the club website such as the history of the club, how to become a mascot and fun things to do such as our autograph sheet which you can download now - click here to visit our Family Section!
