BURTON Albion Academy graduate Charlie Williams has joined National League North side Banbury United on an initial 28-day loan.
Williams is eligible for the Puritans' trip to Darlington tomorrow - and he will link up with fellow Brewers midfielder Ben Radcliffe, who has really hit the ground running at Banbury.
Radcliffe netted his first goal for the club in their 3-1 win over AFC Fylde last weekend, lashing home from close range as Banbury continued their fine start to life in the second tier of non-league.
Tom Hewlett also netted his first competitive goal of the season last weekend, notching the only goal for Belper in their 3-1 defeat away at Marske.
It followed another Hewlett goal in a pre-season friendly a week prior.
Callum Hawkins also had a weekend to remember - saving a penalty and keeping a clean sheet in Leamington's 0-0 draw with Kidderminster Harriers at Aggborough.
Hawkins kept his nerve during a slow run-up to make the vital save - playing a key part in a good point for the Brakes.
