GARRATT AND MOULT TAKE QUESTIONS AT FORUM

4 February 2022

BEN Garratt and Louis Moult were the guests at the third Fan Forum of the season.

The Brewers goalkeeper and striker took questions from fans and gave an insight into their careers and what it's like being part of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's squad.

Fans were invited to take part in person in the Tom Bradbury Suite at the Pirelli Stadium or to join the forum on Zoom.

The forum was part of the club's fan engagement programme and was hosted by Head of Community Matt Hancock who gave an update on progress being made on issues raised in the annual fans' survey.

On the issue of queues and food options at the kiosks, the club has responded by bringing Dom Burgers to Saturday home games with 20 per cent of proceeds going to support Burton Albion Community Trust. The call for healthier options has seen jacket potatoes added to the teabar options from February 5.

Matt also revealed that the club will be looking at new options for fans in terms of hospitality for next season which will be revealed at the final forum of the season.

In response to requests for a better matchday experience for familes the club has introduced a Family Zone every matchday, has a new look Family section on the website and more interaction on social media. The club was hoping to announce more initiatives at the next forum.

Ticket initiatives included a £10 offer for first-time fans with 21 taking up the offer despite the original game on December 18 being postponed.

Matt said more ticket initiatives were being planned.

The print size in the programme has been increased as requested and players' music had been introduced on matchdays with plans for fan input in the pipeline.

The PA system is under review with issues raised by fans being looked at.

Matt said: "Lots of things are in development and we will give a further update at the final forum of the season but I hope fans see we are making progress on the issues they raised."

Feedback from all supporters is welcome.
