BURTON Albion first team players Tom Hewlett and Callum Hawkins have headed out on loan.

Striker Hewlett has joined Redditch United on a 28-day loan as he looks to step up his return to full fitness following a broken leg and ankle in training 13 months ago – he will be in their squad to face Lowestoft Town tomorrow afternoon.

Goalkeeper Hawkins heads out to Leamington FC also on a 28-day loan. The goalkeeper joins up with the Brewers Birmingham Senior Cup semi-final opponents and will be in the Brakes’ squad to play Chester FC tomorrow.

Hasselbaink said: "Tom has come back from a horrific injury and needs game time to play week-in-week-out so that he can kick on.

"Callum is our third choice keeper and we want him also getting game time. We can recall him whenever we want, so it makes perfect sense to send him out."

Bryn Morris will remain at Hartlepool United, Aaron Amadi-Holloway at Barrow AFC and Michael Bostwick at Stevenage Borough, all until the end of the season.

Thierry Latty-Fairweather will stay at National League North side Guiseley until the end of the season.

Luke Redfern will remain at Sutton Coldfield Town until the end of the season.

Scholar Ben Radcliffe will remain at Mickleover, but striker Callum Niven has been recalled from his loan spell with former Brewers’ midfielder John McGrath’s side.

Charlie Williams has been recalled from his spell at Redditch United, as well as goalkeeper Dan Moore who’s experienced game time at Worksop Town.

Jakub Niemczyk will remain at Belper Town until the end of season.
