ELLERY Balcombe has returned to his parent club Brentford bringing to an end his loan spell at Burton Albion.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper was brought in as a back up to Ben Garratt but the form and fitness of the Brewers first choice stopper has mean Balcombe’s chances have been limited.
His three appearances for Burton Albion this season have been in the Papa John’s Trophy with his last start being in the 5-0 win away at Wycombe Wanderers in November.
Balcombe, an England Under 20 international, will now return to the Premier League side.
Burton Albion would like to thank Ellery and wish him well for his future career.
