OMARI Patrick has left the Brewers and signed a new deal with League Two club Carlisle United.
Burton Albion have released the player so that he can return to Brunton Park, where he made his mark last season attracting the attention of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
The winger arrived at the Pirelli Stadium in the summer, but his game time has been limited for the Brewers with only five League One starts.
Patrick joined the Cumbrians from Bradford City in January 2020 and now returns north on a permanent deal.
The Brewers manager said: "We were excited when he first signed but it hasn't worked out the way we all wanted and Omari wants to play football week in, week out so we thank him and wish him well for the future."
