HARRY CHAPMAN REJOINS BURTON ALBION ON LOAN FROM BLACKBURN ROVERS

31 January 2022

BURTON Albion are delighted to announce the re-signing of Harry Chapman on loan until the end of the season from Championship club Blackburn Rovers.

Chapman re-joins the Brewers after spending the first half of the season at the Pirelli Stadium, making nine starts for the club since arriving on deadline day in the last transfer window.

Prior to joining Albion at the beginning of this season, Chapman spent the previous campaign on loan at Shrewsbury Town, where he scored seven goals in 24 appearances at Montgomery Waters Meadow.

Hartlepool-born Chapman has also featured for the likes of Sheffield United and Barnsley while on loan from Middlesbrough.

Before returning to his parent club Blackburn, he netted his first goal for Burton in his latest appearance for the club, that strike coming in a 4-1 home victory against Crewe Alexandra earlier this month.

The 24-year-old has featured on the bench for Blackburn Rovers in a 0-0 draw away at Luton since he returned to his parent club Blackburn, but did not make an appearance since returning from his loan.

Welcome back Harry!
