BURTON Albion can confirm that defender Ryan Leak has joined Sky Bet League Two side Salford City for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old signed for the Brewers last summer after spending several years playing in Spain, most recently for Burgos in the Spanish third tier.
Leak, who began his career in the Wolves youth system, went on to make 22 appearances in total for the Brewers last season, scoring once in an Emirates FA Cup clash at home to Port Vale.
"Leaky did well for us last season but we feel this is the right move for all involved," said manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
"We received an offer we felt was good for the club and it gives Leaky the chance to get more minutes under his belt, so we have agreed to let him join Salford.
"He goes to Salford with our very best wishes."

The Brewers can also confirm that defender Thierry Latty-Fairweather has joined National League North side Hereford FC on loan until January.
The Academy graduate has played in pre-season friendlies for the Bulls and now joins them until the New Year.
