NEW-LOOK SHIRT IS A HIT WITH FANS AND SPONSORS

BURTON Albion’s new-look home kit has proved a big hit with supporters which is great news for our sponsors Prestec UK and Russell Roof Tiles.

The shirt, which features a map design with all roads leading to Burton Albion, celebrates the club’s position at the heart of the community.

It’s a vision shared by front-of-shirt sponsors Prestec, and rear-of-shirt sponsors Russell Roof Tiles.

The Prestec name has been on the front of the Brewers first team home shirts since the 2018/19 season and that will now continue for a fifth year.

As well as sponsoring Burton Albion first team’s home and away shirt, the firm also supports the club’s Academy and Community Trust.

Russell Roof Tiles has been a long-standing partner of the club and has sponsored the East Stand and Academy teams, has hosted its charity quiz at the Pirelli Stadium and taken part in the Corporate Five-a-side tournament at the ground.

Burton Albion Chairman Ben Robinson said: “The shirt is a potent symbol of the way the club and our community trust interacts with the fans and the wider community. That was symbolised by the Pirelli Stadium Vaccination Centre which has delivered more than 300,000 life-saving Covid jabs.

“That would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors and supporters during the pandemic and the new shirt puts that all into sharp focus.

“I want to thank both Prestec and Russell Roof Tiles who have always shared our values and vision.”

Based in Barton-under-Needwood, Prestec UK is an expert contractor in construction, structural repair and refurbishment.

The award-winning firm manufactures nearly one million roofing products per week, provides products for leading UK house builders and high-profile social housing and commercial projects, where sustainability and eco-credentials are of the utmost priority.
