BURTON Albion will host Sky Bet Championship side Sheffield United in a pre-season friendly on Friday, July 22.
The match at the Pirelli Stadium will take place just eight days before the start of the new Sky Bet League One season, with Paul Heckingbottom's side preparing for their own campaign in the second tier.
It could see former Brewers loanee, and last season's top scorer, Daniel Jebbison make a return to the Pirelli while the likes of Sander Berge, John Fleck, Rhian Brewster and Billy Sharp could also feature for the Blades.
This is our second confirmed home pre-season friendly, following the announcement that United's Championship rivals Birmingham City will be playing the Brewers at the Pirelli just six days prior on July 16.
