BURTON Albion Academy are currently looking for the expression of interest for host family providers, to support our elite young players who need to live away from home to undertake their football training and education at Burton Albion Football Club.

Players may range from 16 to 21.

Our placements vary from short term one-night stays to longer term 5-7 nights week. We are looking for host families who can offer either or both types of placements. Host families would be required to provide homely accommodation throughout the season and players would require their own bedroom. Access to public transport and local amenities is desirable.

The Academy at Burton Albion Football Club is committed to developing well-rounded young players who are fearless, passionate, and hardworking in everything that they do. We are committed to developing our players as good people as well as good players, so their education and life skills are of high priority.

Both hosts and young players are given guidelines explaining what is expected of each of them. All our host families will be subject to health and safety, safeguarding and DBS checks and regular visits/check would occur from Academy staff.

Burton Albion Football Club ensure a positive commitment towards equality, diversity and inclusion by treating others fairly and welcomes applicants from all sectors of the community. We are an equal opportunities employer and aim to promote positive working relationships between all internal and external stakeholders.

Please contact Academy Manager, Dan Robinson, if interested and for further information, via email
