MANCHESTER City legend Vincent Kompany will be bringing his Burnley side to Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium for his first pre-season friendly.
And tickets are ON SALE NOW for our third confirmed home pre-season fixture, which will take place on Saturday, July 9 with a 3.30pm kick-off time.
Kompany, widely regarded as one of the finest centre-halves of all time, won four Premier League titles with the Citizens, as well as two FA Cups, four League Cups and two Community Shields.
The 36-year-old also won two top flight titles in his native Belgium with Anderlecht, the club he has managed for the last two seasons prior to joining the Clarets a fortnight ago - and the likes of Dwight McNeill, Maxwel Cornet and Ashley Barnes could well feature.
This will be the first opportunity for Brewers fans to see their heroes in action ahead of the new 2022/23 Sky Bet League One season so make sure to come down and back your Burton Albion!

Seated Season Ticket holders who have renewed for 2022/23 can book their regular seat for these games. They need to be claimed by 5pm on Tuesday, June 28, or they will go on general sale.
Car Park Pass Holders for 2022/23 can claim their regular space for these fixtures at a cost of £5 per game and must also claim them by 5pm on Tuesday, June 28.
Hospitality will be available for both fixtures.
