BURTON Albion U18s recorded a resounding first victory of the season - defeating SSS Ladies 6-1 in the U18s Open Cup.

Taylor-Mae KNIGHT opened the scoring after just 16 minutes before MORAN grabbed her first of the afternoon just four minutes later, as Albion opened strongly.
Substitute Alana Keary was on target after 35 minutes before the Brewers continued to impress in the second half, MORAN netting a second just past the hour and Hannah COX netting in the 73rd minute.
Farrah HOYLE completed the rout with a 90th-minute goal - the only consolation for SSS coming through a strike from Amber Hopkins.
