PAPA JOHNS TROPHY DRAW DETAILS

23 November 2022

THE Papa Johns Trophy Round of 16 draw will take place live on Sky Sports News at 4.30pm tomorrow (Thursday 24 November).

The Brewers booked their place in the draw after beating Tranmere on penalties last night.

Sky Sports News presenter Claire Tomlinson will be joined by former England International, Shaun Wright-Phillips, who scored six goals in 36 caps for the national team, to conduct the draw.

Taking place during the World Cup, eleven of England’s squad have previously played in the EFL Trophy including Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and Mason Mount who all made their professional debuts in the competition.

Dino Maamria is delighted to be in the draw.

He said: "I really wanted to go through. I said from day one that this is a competition we want to go far in. With the quality we can play with we will win games in this competition and we have already beaten some good teams. I would have been gutted if we had not gone through last night and we can now look forward to the draw."

The Papa Johns Trophy Round of 16 fixtures will take place week commencing 12 December.

Papa Johns will be inviting fans to experience the magic of midweek football with a guest of their choice by giving away 25 pairs of tickets to every home game and a free small Cheese and Tomato pizza as part of its PJT Nights offer.

The pizza delivery chain is giving back to football fans by offering 50% off pizzas to EFL season or match ticket holders. Simply present an EFL season or match ticket to staff in a Papa Johns store to redeem 50% off pizza.
