BURTON Albion U18s were unable to prevent a second half fightback and were denied a first league win of the season as Coventry City secured a 4-4 draw on Saturday.
Albion had taken a 3-1 lead into half-time but the Sky Blues fought back in the second half to take a share of the points.
Farrah HOYLE gave the Brewers the lead just 16 minutes in before Sommer BUTTON netted on the half-hour. Issy MORAN got a third just shy of the break for Albion.
It was 3-1 at the break and although Alice Smith got an 85th-minute goal for the Brewers, goals from Georgia Furlong, Sydney Atkinson, Olivia Sharman and Sophie Woodhead secured a point for the hosts.
Albion will be turning attentions to cup action next week, at home to SSS Ladies in the U18 Open Cup.
