FACTS and figures relating to tomorrow’s away game at Oxford United from Tony Bentley.

A crowd of 13,632 saw Lloyd Dyer score the only goal of the game in 23rd minute. A deep John Brayford free kick was headed clear by a defender to Dyer, who struck a 20-yard volley, which bounced past Ben Alnwick in the Trotters goal.

An own goal in the 34th minute doubled the lead, before Andy Ducros made it 3-0 in the 74th minute. Shaw netted his second to make it 4-0 in the 80th minute to complete a comprehensive victory.

The Brewers travelled to Moor Green in the Southern Premier League on Saturday December 16 2000. The Brewers won 2-1 courtesy of goals from Mark Blount and a Christian Moore penalty in front of 859 fans.

Oxford hadn’t read the script though, as Olamide Shadipo made it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Matty Tylor doubled the lead in the 28th minute, before Elliot Lee made it 3-0 in the 57th minute.
