THE Brewers return to the Pirelli Stadium on Boxing Day for the first of two home festive holiday fixtures.

On December 29 Shrewsbury come to the Pirelli Stadium but first it’s Blackpool on December 26 with a 3pm kick off.

The Brewers opened the season away at Blackpool and will be looking o avenge a 2-0 defeat.

Blackpool won the Anglo Italian Cup in 1971 beating Roma away on the path to the final where they beat Bologna in Italy 2-1 to lift the cup.

The two clubs have played each other eight times since the Brewers were promoted to the Football League with all the games coming in League One. It’s honours even with Albion and Blackpool both having won three times with two games finishing as draws.

Our regular Family Zone will be in operation for this game, now starting two hours before kick-off and it is open to home and away supporters.
