THE Brewers picked up another valuable three points away at Bristol Rovers last weekend and now return to the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday for a home game against Accrington Stanley (3pm kick off).

John Coleman has been in charge of Accrington Stanley for more than 1,000 games in two spells dating back to 1999.

The Brewers and Accrington have met 23 times since Albion were promoted to the Football League in 2009. The Brewers have a narrow edge on those encounters having won nine to Stanley’s seven with a further seven draws. Accrington did however win the last meeting between the clubs in the Papa Johns Trophy.

There will be a minute’s applause before kick off to remember Burton Albion Director Phil Brown who recently passed away. There will be a tribute to Phil in the Matchday Brewer.

Level Playing Field is the leading charity in England and Wales campaigning and advocating on behalf of disabled sports fans.

At the Accrington game we are supporting Level Playing Field’s 'Unite For Access' campaign which is a celebration of disabled fans, accessibility, and inclusion at sports venues. Look out for special activities at our Family Zone supporting Level Playing Field.

Our regular Family Zone will be back in operation for this game starting 90 minutes before kick-off and is open to home and away supporters.

Come and try out football, archery, inflatable fun, colouring and much more on the 3G pitch and inside the community building.

There is plenty more information for young fans on the club website such as the history of the club, how to become a mascot and fun things to do such as our autograph and colouring sheets which you can download now - click here to visit our Family Section!

Video Match Passes are not available for this game, but Audio Passes priced £2.50 are available to buy now here. Listen to full commentary from BBC Radio Derby's Dave Fletcher and Aaron Webster!

Match Passes are available for international users.

The match referee for this game will be Josh Smith. The Peterborough-born official has largely taken charge of Championship fixtures this season, and has shown 107 yellow cards in his 24 games, with four reds. His most recent game in charge of the Brewers was a 2-1 defeat at Wycombe in December 2021.

The assistant referees are Adam Crysell and Graham Kane with Greg Rollason as fourth official.

We have a wide range of food and drink inside the ground - including jacket potatoes, hot dogs, burgers, chips and our famous faggots and peas. Chips are just £2.50, a burger is £3.20. Pies and pasties are £3.

By popular demand Madri beer will now be available in all home bars.

Match sponsor – Particle Technology

Particle Technology was founded in 1989 by Ron Buxton, a keen Burton Albion fan and frequent visitor to the Pirelli Stadium. Greg Spicer, Managing Director, took over the company 10 years ago after Ron sadly passed away and wanted to carry on this tradition. He began work on building the Sand and Dust Testing facility. Cleanliness Testing followed soon after and, more recently, the firm became the first UK laboratory to gain accreditation for Filter Testing to EN779:2012 and ISO 16890. Now, as Managing Director, Greg heads up a team of 18 employees with Sue Gregory, Financial Director, operating at the forefront of product reliability, supplying and supporting customers all over the world.

Player Sponsors

Also joining us is Neil Carpenter from FFS, who sponsor one of our new signings Zac Ashworth and who will be receiving a signed shirt from the player.
