VICTOR Adeboyejo has joined Bolton Wanderers after the Sky Bet League One club triggered the striker’s release clause.
The 25-year-old arrived at the Pirelli Stadium on a free transfer from Barnsley in the summer of 2022, signing a permanent deal with the Brewers.
Adeboyejo previously spent time in Arsenal’s youth set-up and made his professional debut for Leyton Orient in December 2014.
The Nigerian frontman has also had loan spells at Bristol Rovers and Cambridge.
Brewers manager Dino Maamria said: “Bolton have triggered the release clause that was set in his contract, and therefore he leaves with our best wishes
“It’s a good move for him and he deserves his move.
“He’s a hungry and ambitious man, and we hope to see him continue to progress in the future.
“We will continue to work hard in this transfer window as we look to strengthen the squad for the rest of the season.”
