MUSTAPHA Carayol has signed a new deal with Burton Albion until the end of the 22/23 season, whilst midfielder Charlie Lakin has headed out on loan to Doncaster Rovers.
Carayol has made 18 appearances so far this season for the Brewers since signing a short-term deal in September, and will now stay with the club for the remainder of the season.
"Muzzy has settled really well at the club. He's been a brilliant inlfuence in the dressing room, and on the pitch he's given us a positive inpact when he's come on," said Maamria.
"He's really good around the group and we need people with his experience to help us push on in the second half of the season."
Lakin joined the Brewers from Birmingham City in summer 2021, scoring 2 goals in 38 appearances since arriving.
The 23-year-old will now join up with Danny Schofield’s side for the remainder of the season, having struggled to regularly feature for Albion this season.
On Lakin, Maamria said: "Charlie needed game time and Doncaster are able to give him that, so we hope he does well."
