THE Brewers will be at home to Mansfield Town and Everton U21s in this season’s EFL Trophy and will travel to Doncaster Rovers.
The Brewers were last month drawn in Northern Group H and now the fixture details have been confirmed.
Match 1 – Burton Albion v Everton U21s – Tuesday 26th September 7pm (H)
Match 2 – Doncaster v Burton Albion - Tuesday 10th October 7pm (A)
Match 3 - Burton Albion v Mansfield – Tuesday 14th November 7pm (H)
It’s the first-time the Brewers have been scheduled to play the Stags since Nigel Clough took over in 2020.
Mansfield missed out on the play-offs last season on goal difference by a single goal.
Nigel Clough was voted into the club’s Hall of Fame by Brewers supporters in May.
Doncaster Rovers finished 18th in League Two last season.
Rovers are managed by former Northern Ireland international Grant McCann.
The fourth team in the group is always a Premier League Under 21 side and this season Everton U21s will be coming to the Pirelli Stadium in our first game in the group.
