DON AMOTT STAND CLOSED FOR PRE-SEASON GAMES

18 July 2023

BURTON Albion’s Don Amott (West) Stand will be closed for the two home pre-season friendlies due to low ticket sales.

The Brewers host West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, July 22, with a 3pm kick off and Stoke City on Tuesday, July 25, with a 7.45pm kick off in this year’s Bass Charity Vase game.

With less than 200 ticket sales across the Don Amott (West) Stand and the Raygar (North) Stand the decision has been made to close the Don Amott Stand for both games.

Brewers Chairman Ben Robinson said: “We always aim to keep all home sections of the ground open for all fixtures at the Pirelli Stadium if possible. However, when ticket sales are as low as they are it’s not cost effective to open a stand for a small number of fans, therefore we have made the decision not to open the Don Amott Stand for the West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City games.

“I want to thank the fans who had bought tickets for the Don Amott and I hope they will take the option to transfer to the Raygar Stand.”

Brewers fans who have already bought tickets for the Don Amott (West) Stand can simply transfer to the Raygar (North) Stand. If you wish to transfer, you can use your existing ticket.

Fans who prefer a refund would need to bring tickets back to the Club Shop during normal opening hours.
