BURTON Albion will make the short trip to Derbyshire this summer to take on Alfreton Town in a pre-season friendly.
Albion will take on the Vanarama National League North side on Tuesday, July 11.
The game will take place at The Impact Arena, with a 7.30pm kick-off.
The last pre-season visit to Alfreton saw the Brewers fall to a 2-1 defeat, with veteran striker Matt Rhead bagging a first half brace. Joe Powell scored a consolation goal from the penalty spot, but Albion couldn’t draw level as they prepared for the 2021/22 season.
