BURTON Albion’s pre-season campaign ramps up as they make the trip to Cheshire to face League Two side Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 15th July.
Kicking off at 3pm, the match will take place at Crewe’s Mornflake Stadium.
It’s a packed pre-season for the Brewers with fixtures already announced against Stoke City in the Bass Charity vase, West Bromwich Albion, Brackley Town, Nuneaton Borough and Alfreton Town. A Brewers XI will also take on Mickleover and Belper Town in July.
The last time the two sides met was during a Sky Bet League One clash at the Pirelli, with goals from Harry Chapman, John Brayford, Kane Hemmings and Daniel Jebbison helping Burton to a 4-1 victory in January 2022.
The Railwaymen will be looking to build on their 14th place finish in League two during last season.
