BURTON Albion will be at home to Leicester City in the First Round of the Carabao Cup.
The Brewers were ball no 8 in the northern section of the draw and were paired with the three times winners of the competition who were relegated from the Premier League last season.
The tie will be played week commencing August 7. Date and ticket details will be announced at a later date.
Brewers manager Dino Maamria said: "Leicester is a really good tie for us. They are a big club, former Premier League winners, FA Cup winners all in the last few years.
"It's the best fixture we could have hoped for and home as well so it's brilliant all round.
"It's a big opening week for our fans - away at Blackpool, home to Leicester and then home to Derby.
"It's brilliant for the fans, difficult for us - but we will relish it. That's what League One is all about and why we compete in these cup competitions because we want the big games and the glory."
