BURTON Albion’s incredibly popular Corporate Five-a-Side tournament is BACK for 2023 – and businesses are being urged to sign up as soon as possible!
With 11 companies already signed up for this season’s competition, which allows teams to compete on the Pirelli Stadium pitch, it is sure to be another fantastic and competitive occasion.
This year’s tournament is sponsored by Russell Roof Tiles – who have entered a team in each of our recent tournaments, sponsor the East Stand at the Pirelli Stadium and are also the football club’s back-of-shirt partner.
Russell Roof Tiles is the largest independent manufacturer of concrete derivatives in the UK pitched roofing market. Employing around 140 staff at three sites in Scotland and two in Burton on Trent the firm is currently on a major recruitment drive at all of its sites to help deliver massive growth in demand.
Last season, 18 teams took part in our Corporate Five-a-Side which saw Anvil Hire take victory in the final.
Our tournament allows teams the opportunity to play on the same pitch graced by Sergio Aguero, Aaron Webster, Sadio Mane, Jack Grealish and many, many more in recent years – with at least three games (60 minutes total) guaranteed for all teams who enter.
Lunch will also be provided to all players, with a three-course meal, awards ceremony and entertainment in the evening.

This year’s tournament takes place on Friday, May 19 and the cost for a team comprising eight players, a manager and an assistant manager is £850 plus VAT.
