BURTON Albion Women's first team players Emily Gillott and Charlotte Jarvis are swapping the pitch for the skies on May 8 - as they skydive to raise funds for Bowel Cancer UK.
Midfielder Gillott and defender Jarvis will be taking the leap from 12,000ft in the air to raise funds and awareness of Bowel Cancer UK, in support of teammate Ciara Fray whose father Anthony was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer last September.
Bowel Cancer UK is the country's leading bowel cancer charity. They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
