BURTON Albion will travel to Nuneaton Borough for a pre-season friendly this summer - taking on the Southern League Premier Central side on Saturday, July 1.
The game will take place at Boro’s FCS Stadium, with a 2pm kick-off.
The Brewers last visited Nuneaton at the start of the 2021/22 pre-season preparations, with a 3-1 victory. After a goalless first half Albion struck three times after half time having put out two different teams in each 45 minutes of the game.
Nuneaton narrowly missed out on promotion to the National League North last season, as Rushall Olympic held their nerve to triumph 4-3 on penalties in the Play-Off Final.
Albion so far have pre-season fixtures lined-up against Sky Bet Championship sides West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City already announced, whilst further friendlies will be announced shortly.
