THE Brewers return to the Pirelli Stadium looking to bounce back from defeat at Peterborough on Saturday.

The Brewers will be hoping to recapture the home form that saw Albion beat Mansfield Town 2-1 a week ago in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.

Portsmouth lost a league game for the first time this season on Saturday sinking to a surprise 4-0 home defeat to Blackpool. That ended an incredible 28-game unbeaten run of league games for Pompey.

The Brewers and Pompey have met 13 times in the last ten years with all games coming in either League One or League Two. The Brewers have won three, drawn four and lost six of those games. Portsmouth have won the last three encounters.

Before kick-off there will be a minute’s applause as we remember our former player Dale Anderson who has passed away at the age of 44 and former England manager and Portsmouth Chairman Terry Venables who has died at the age of 80.

There will be a collection for the Footprints Family charity which helps improve the lives of orphans in Kenya. The charity was founded by Burton’s Kerry Watson in 2007, an adopted child herself. She started a charity with the aim of providing a home which would provide love, care, security and happiness for children. Please support the charity by making a cash donation in the buckets that will be visible at the turnstiles.

Our regular Family Zone will be in operation for this game, now starting two hours before kick-off and it is open to home and away supporters.

Come and try out football, archery, inflatable fun, colouring and much more on the 3G pitch and inside the community building.

There is plenty more information for young fans on the club website such as the history of the club, how to become a mascot and fun things to do such as our autograph and colouring sheets which you can download now - click here to visit our Family Section!
