TODAY'S Sky Bet League One fixture against Bristol Rovers is on and will go ahead as scheduled.
The match referee has inspected the Pirelli Stadium pitch and has passed it fit to play.
Chairman Ben Robinson MBE DL, said: "The grounds staff have done a great job given the amount of rainfall to get today's game on. There is no surface water on the pitch and I'd like to thank our Head Groundsman Nick George, his Assistant Marcus Diery and several other staff and volunteers who have gone above and beyond to ensure that today's game goes ahead.
"A special thanks goes to our Head of Maintainence, Paul Calladine, who has worked tirelessly over the past two days and was also here at working at 5.30am on his birthday. We'd like to wish him a Happy Birthday."
