AFTER incidents of reported homophobic abuse at both the Derby County and Bolton Wanderers home games, Burton Albion Football Club is reminding all supporters of our zero tolerance policy to all forms of abuse.
The club wishes to make it clear that it does not - and never will - tolerate behaviour of this kind and condemns it entirely. This abuse has no place in football.
We are actively investigating the reports that have been sent to us, and anyone found guilty of using discriminatory language will have action taken against them - which may include a club ban.
As a community club, equality is at the heart of all that we do and anyone, regardless of orientation, ethnicity, age, gender or belief, is welcome at Burton Albion Football Club.
Anyone who hears any form of discrimination or abuse at Burton Albion games is encouraged to make the matchday stewards aware and report it to the club as soon as possible.
If you see it or hear it, please report it.
