THE Brewers return to the Pirelli Stadium to face promotion-chasing Oxford United in Sky Bet League One.

The visitors are currently seventh in the table, level with Lincoln City who occupy the final play-off spot on points but with an inferior goal difference.

The Brewers are 20th and just one point above the relegation zone, so both clubs will be desperate for points on Saturday.

Burton Albion v Oxford takes place on Saturday, April 6, with a 3pm kick off.

As the Brewers won the Conference in 2009, the home game versus Oxford set a new record attendance at the Pirelli Stadium of 6,192 beating the Manchester United FA Cup tie in 2006 by just one spectator. The record stayed until the Brewers played Derby County in 2016 when the attendance was 6,746.

The two clubs have played each other 23 times in all competitions since the Brewers were promoted to the Football League in 2009. Albion have won seven, drawn six and lost 10, including a 3-0 defeat when the teams last met in December.

Burton Rotary Club will be holding its annual Placard Parade at the game with volunteers carrying boards sponsored by local companies around the pitch. The Rotary Club will also be holding a bucket collection at the turnstiles so please support the charity if you can.

Our regular Family Zone will be in operation for this game, now starting two hours before kick-off and it is open to home and away supporters.

Come and try out football, archery, inflatable fun, colouring and much more on the 3G pitch and inside the community building.
