BREWERS AND PROJECT CURV CELEBRATE SUCCESSFUL PARTNERSHIP

9 April 2024

BURTON Albion and Project CURV are celebrating a successful partnership over the course of the 2023/24 football season.

The Brewers and the innovative business have joined forces to highlight the possibilities for renewable energy solutions with the Project CURV logo on the back of Burton Albion’s shorts for this season.

Project CURV, a part of the Project Better Energy group, is based at Lancaster Park, Needwood, close to St George’s Park where Burton Albion train and wanted to support and partner with the Brewers.

Ron McKinnon, Head of Project CURV, said: “Our aim is to provide renewable solutions across commercial, retail, housing associations and councils.  Our products help counter the impact of fuel poverty and we offer a range of solutions.

“The opportunity came for us to sponsor the back of the Burton Albion shorts and we jumped at the chance to showcase what we do to Brewers supporters and the wider football world.

“It was very exciting when we saw the logo on the shorts on TV for the FA Cup coverage and it gives us great exposure and enables us to shout up about what we are all about. People see the brand and hopefully want to find out more about us.

“I’m local and my son is Burton Albion’s number one fan. The club is on our doorstep, and we wanted to show our support. We know all about what Ben Robinson has achieved and what he has done for the club, and we wanted to be part of that.

“We have a lot of renewable solutions for the football industry as well and we are looking forward to further enhancing our partnership with the Brewers.”

Burton Albion Chairman Ben Robinson said: “It has been brilliant to work with a forward-thinking and innovative local company.

“The club loves to work with firms that share our values and help us achieve our goals and in return we are able to use the brand and exposure of Burton Albion to highlight the great work being done by Project CURV in coming up with solutions that will bring us a better, greener future.

“I want to thank Ron and his team for their support, and we look forward to furthering our partnership.”
