MATCH PREVIEW: READING

18 April 2024

THE Brewers final home game of the 2023/24 Sky Bet League One season sees Reading FC visit the Pirelli Stadium.

The visitors are currently 17th in the table with the Brewers in 20th – just one place and two points above the relegation zone.

Albion then finish the season away at Fleetwood Town on April 27.

Burton Albion v Reading takes place on Saturday, April 20, with a 3pm kick off.

DID YOU KNOW?

Reading are one of the oldest clubs in the country having been founded in 1871 but they didn’t reach the top tier until 2006/2007 and last played in the Premier League in 2012/2013.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The two clubs have played each other only six times in all competitions since the Brewers were promoted to the Football League in 2009. Albion have won only once, drawn once and lost four times. It was a 0-0 draw when the two teams met in September.
