HUGILL AND OLA-ADEBOMI JOIN THE FUN AT HALF-TERM HOLIDAY CAMPS

20 February 2024

BURTON Albion Mens first-team players Joe Hugill and Ademola Ola-Adebomi took time to visit one of Burton Albion Community Trust’s holiday camp sessions.

Hugill and Ola-Adebomi are on loan from Manchester United and Crystal palace respectively, and were joined on the session by some of the Burton Albion Academy scholars.

The five players threw themselves into the session, much to the delight of the soccer camps participants with a few games of football.

After the final whistle had sounded, the lads were only too happy to answer the multitude of questions the delighted participants had, as well as signing autographs and pose for photos.

Joe Hugill said: “It’s been amazing this afternoon. The children were asking all sorts of questions and it’s brilliant to see the future of the game is in safe hands.

“I haven’t been at the club long but the work they do in the community is something you see around the place on a daily basis which is remarkable.”

Football Development Manager, Ben Webster said: “We have had a really positive week engaging with a large number of boys and girls in our soccer camps.

“Having the support of the Burton Albion first team men and scholars to give up their time to come and join in our activities has topped off a successful week”.

Burton Albion Community Trust’s soccer camps continue to run across the Staffordshire half-term holidays.

There’s lots of football fun and games available for children for all abilities aged between 4-12 years old so don’t miss out!
