DESPITE the current low temperatures, tomorrow afternoon’s home game against Charlton Athletic is set to go ahead as planned.
The club has received pitch support from Leicester City’s Grounds Team over the past week and there are currently no plans for a pitch inspection to take place.
The Foxes take on Aston Villa Women tonight in the Barclays Women’s Super League at the Pirelli Stadium, with a heated MacLeod Cover System currently keeping pitch temperatures at bay.
Chairman Ben Robinson MBE DL said: “We have a good relationship with Leicester and want to thank them for their support.
“We agreed to support them in order to help get their game on and we’re confident that in return the use of their equipment and Grounds Team will get our game on without any doubts.”
