THE Brewers return to the Pirelli Stadium for the Staffordshire derby against local rivals Port Vale.

It will be a great atmosphere with both teams looking for a big win with games running out in the 2023/2024 season.

Burton Albion v Port Vale takes place Saturday, March 23, with a 3pm kick off.

Port Vale have never played in the topflight of English football despite having nearly 150 years of footballing history. In fact, Vale hold the record for the most seasons in the EFL (112) without reaching the first tier.

The two clubs have played each other 18 times in all competitions since the Brewers were promoted to the Football League in 2009. Albion have won six, drawn four and lost eight, with this being the fourth meeting this season which includes two ties in the FA Cup with Vale winning the replay.

Our bucket collection is being undertaken by the Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity which works tirelessly to provide the extras that cannot be provided from NHS statutory funding. Please give generously and if you miss the buckets, you can use the QR code in the matchday programme to donate as well.
